THE PRINTS' PICKS - Milan, ITALY Edition!

The PRINTS checks in from Milan, ITALY this week. A testament to the phrase, "it ain't where you're from, it's where you're at", our roving NCAA lax picker,  simply picks the games that are of high interest to the lacrosse enthusiast in you. A very delicate process. Dense with names this week!

ALBANY over Drexel: This is no lay up game for the Danes. They are obviously a less potent team than the past but, they have Super Soph CONNOR FIELDS at attack and All-Name Team BLAZE RIORDEN in cage (remember his coast to coast last season?), that was insane.

NAVY over BU: I like the NAVY team this year. BU is a gritty team but, NAVY midfielder KEVIN WENDEL is playing like NAVY greats GRAHAM GILL and MIKE SHEEDY right now. All over the field and being a stud workhorse!

CORNELL over Hobart: Long before coach MATT KERWICK was the head coach at CORNELL and before his SAILING SHOE LACROSSE days, he was a All-American Beast at Hobart. It has to be tough to lay on the gas against his alma mater. Look for Coach Kerwick to "Keep it classy Ithaca".

UMASS over Harvard: Yes, I didn't give enough credit to this raw UMASS team last week. I am on board this week when the gentlemen from Harvard head west on the Mass Pike to face their gritty in state foes at UMASS, blue collar over neckties this week!

MICHIGAN over Delaware: HILL ACADEMY CANADIAN KYLE JACKSON is a "do everything" player for the Wolverines. I don't think even a double team will stop him this Saturday. He is a workhorse like MICHIGAN LACROSSE Legend MICHAEL BARTOMIOLI who is now coaching at UPENN.

RUTGERS over Fairfield: The second HILL ACADEMY player mentioned this week is ADAM CHARALAMBIDES because he has been crushing it for the SCARLET KNIGHTS. He is a beast that Fairfield can't handle. Look for the Canadian to put go 2-2 against the Stags.

MARYLAND over Yale: Middie BRYAN COLE shouldn't be challenged by any Yale midfielder. Yale is really lacking a SSDM or a gritty between the lines guy like they had in MICHAEL LIPIN back in 2013. COLE should see plenty of freedom to rip on the run in this contest.

D2 Pick of the Week: ST. LEO over Shorter: Coach BRAD JORGENSEN always gets his guys ready for road trips. ST. LEO plays well on the road and with players like JAKE GILMOUR running the offense, and LSM JAMES MACKENZIE (RHODE ISLAND NATIVE is a ground ball animal) the Lions should dominate Shorter between the lines!

D3 Pick of the Week: SALISBURY over Gettysburg: Great match up here with these two top 10 products! SALISBURY has a very special goal keeper in JOSHUA DEAN. He comes from a family of high lax IQ and knows the game between the pipes like no other. In front of him, he may have the D3 Defenseman of the Year in KYLE TUCKER. TUCKER will be put to the test when he faces G' Burg's JAMESON SMITH who is coming off a seven point performance vs Messiah.
