[NCAA] PRINTS' PICK - Week 5

Get your notebooks out kids. A YumYumLax reader fave, The PRINTS' PICKS back for Week 5 of the 2016 college lacrosse season, complete with name-drops and heavy young-blood research. Enjoy ...

YALE over Bryant: Last year I picked Bryant over YALE. Last week I picked Maryland over YALE. This week, YALE BULLDOGS will be having a victory pizza party at Pepe's Pizzeria on Wooster Street, New Haven!

STONY BROOK over Fairfield: After the Umass-Lowell fiasco loss for Fairfield, I'm thinking Fairfield might be in the midst of some player controversy. Look for SMITHTOWN, NY product MATT SCHULTZ to have a good day against the Stags in this lopsided affair.

HOBART over Binghamton: This will be a good game but, HOBART's COOPER STEFANIAK is the real deal and big gamer. He should find plenty of room to rip against a porous Binghamton defense and with the goalie play of JACKSON BROWN, "she's got to be somebody's baby".....he is playing like HOBART Legend GUY VAN ARSDALE.

HOFSTRA over Georgetown: I have a feeling All American candidate JOSH BYRNE will have a huge day for the Pride as they steamroll the boys from D.C.

MOUNT ST. MARY'S over Furman: The MOUNT is led by one of the most underrated scorers in D1 MARK HOJNOSKI. He is a sniper and can score with either hand. He reminds me of MOUNT Legend PETE KEMP who would never tire when he played.

NOTRE DAME over Maryland: This is a coin flip game that will go down to the wire. If NOTRE DAME has a defensive plan to stop Terp BRYAN COLE, they win. I have a feeling Coach Byrne has that plan already. Look for ND to squeak this one out.

SACRED HEART over Providence: Tough match up to call. Both schools have the Roman Catholic undertone and both schools attract the same type of player and student so, just two hours up or down the I-95 cross state highway you can get to one another. The Catholic Bowl will be a good game, Pioneers over Friars!

D2 Pick Of The Week: POST-CT over Franklin Pierce: Don't confuse this POST-CT from the Post in New York. This one is located in Waterbury, Ct and they have a few ballers who can score goals. Freshman MATTHEW MAZZA is a product of WEST SENECA NY and he can score goals! So can COLBY TREAT

D3 Pick Of The Week: COBLESKILL over Green Mountain: COBLESKILL is an often overlooked New York school for players wanting to stay close to home and play lax in college with a high population of fun things to do at COBLESKILL. I hear the girls are cute. Have fun fellas! Look for ALEX ACOMPORA and KYLE MAGDZIUK to have huge games for the TIGERS!
